Jason and I went over the mountains and stayed in Bend Oregon last weekend. To say we enjoyed ourselves would be an extreme understatement. We LOVED our time from the hotel we stayed at to the incredible local food we ate!
I’ve partnered with Herpecin-L to talk about the part of beauty we don’t have a lot of fun talking about, dry cracked lips that sometimes get cold sores. Before you even use your favorite lipstick or lip gloss, you have to heal and protect those lips with this Lip Balm for Fall and Winter!
This post has been sponsored by the PRIMP Network. All opinions are my own.
Change in seasons means change in outfits and beauty. I tend to forget about the beauty part until it’s so far past the point of preventative steps but healing. For example, my eczema. I forget when the air gets dry that my skin can flare up if I don’t moisturize it well enough.
My lips are no different! The change in air makes them SUPER dry, especially with wearing lipstick. About an hour after I have done my makeup, my lips are flaking because they are so dry.
This little $5 lip balm lip balm for Fall and Winter
has solved that issue for me.
Before I do my makeup, I use my Herpecin L on my lips to be sure they are protected from the weather.
Side note: this lip balm doubles as a relief for cold sores and fever blisters. A lot of the other cold sore medications are expensive, even over the counter. This lip balm moisturizes, heals, and contains sunscreen!
So now that we have discussed how to transition your lips for Fall and Winter, how do you transition your wardrobe for Fall and Winter? Layers my friend. Layer up your t-shirts with cozy cardigans. I LOVE this one for work and for the weekends. I wore this exact outfit to work but instead of jeans I wore dress pants!
Layer your clothes and layer your lip products for Fall and Winter!
